Supplied new on 27 February 1991 in Germany, this Ferrari Testarossa was finished in black ('Nero Ferrari 1240') with red leather upholstery, and is in the same combination of colours today. Its service book has several stamps, the last dated 26 April 2022 at 47,300 km, for a major service carried out by Kroymans Automotive, the official Ferrari dealer in the Netherlands, for a sum in excess of 13,000 €. In addition, this well looked-after car comes with a set of fitted luggage and all its books and manuals.
Succeeding the Ferrari 512 BB, the Testarossa was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1984 and made quite an impact; even now, it is an exceptional car. Its name recalled the Testa Rossa of the 1950s with its red cylinder head covers, while its Pininfarina design featured spectacular side air intakes. Its heady performance was enough to satisfy the most hardened observers, with its 390 bhp 5-litre 12-cylinder engine taking it to 300 kph, a speed reserved for a highly select group of cars. The last but one production Ferrari designed and built during Enzo Ferrari's lifetime, it is magnificently represented by this example, whose black paintwork brings out the model's strong personality, making it an extremely rare car on the market.
The Testarossa is certainly the most iconic model of the 1980s, with its long side strakes and its wide tail housing its V12!
