Prior to becoming the 512 TR, the Testarossa underwent a third evolution offered to customers starting from June 1988 with chassis number 75997. It can be identified by its 5-bolt wheels. This evolution also encompassed modifications to the steering column, as well as to the shocks and a wider track.

The model offered for sale is one of the 865 units with European specifications produced in 1989. It is exceptionally rare for multiple reasons: originally destined for Switzerland, it is equipped with headlight washers, has very low mileage, and boasts a spotless history as it has been owned by the same individual since new. The current owner has meticulously preserved all documents tracing its history: purchase order, all invoices, and up-to-date technical inspection reports. Also included with this car are various logbooks and manuals, even the radio code, all in the original pouch. This Testarossa also comes with its spare wheel, toolkit, jack, and a spare set of keys.
