Description

Arguably the defining supercar of the 1980's, the Testarossa continues to be revered as an iconic piece of automotive history.

Simultaneously, it is one of those unique cars which manages in an instant, to epitomise the aspirations of a generation whose walls were adorned by its famous, and dramatic, wedge-like shape.

Whilst it is often claimed that it was revealed to the world at the Paris Salon in 1984, the Testarossa was far too conspicuous for such an ordinary outing.

Instead, rather more befitting of a car which would ultimately symbolise 80's excess, the Ferrari and its glorious flat 12 was shown off to the automotive press and select guests the night before at the Lido nightclub on the Champs-Élysées.

Our particular example has had two owners, the most current since 2005. As an early example, it is a prized Monospecchio (single mirror) variant in Rosso Corsa and contrasting cream leather interior.

It shows just 22,000 miles or 36,000 km and is registered with l'Automotoclub Storico Italia (ASI) the Italian subsidiary of Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA).

Export possible, anywhere in the world.
