The Ferrari Mondial was born from the desire to replace the Dino 308 GT4. As with every time a mid-engined, four-seater Ferrari is unveiled, the Mondial had a difficult start. However, it was able to win over a wide audience by offering the qualities of an everyday car under bodywork by Pininfarina and adorned with the prancing horse. Powered by a 300 hp V8 engine, it was no match for the brand's sportiest models, but it was an alternative between the Berlinettes and the GTs!
This Mondial T is one of the few to be equipped with the Valeo semi-automatic transmission. In fact, as always, it has the gearstick lever set in its aluminium frame, but only two pedals. Less than 10 copies were equipped in this way and this convertible has survived the years very well despite the sun-damaged upholstery and some imperfections on the paintwork, it has never been repainted. The roof was recently redone and the mechanics were completely overhauled. It is therefore in very good condition and has a relatively low mileage.
