The Ferrari Mondial is a car to be judged at its true value. Unveiled in 1979, it as its attribute indicates the intention to be an accessible Ferrari sold on all continents. Its 4 seats despite its engine in a central rear position having proved itself on the famous Ferrari 308 lineage make it a sporty and versatile car at the same time. Often shunned for its particular design and its long wheelbase, the Mondial is a car to be considered for its road qualities and for its (for the moment) very accessible price...

Our car was put on the road on September 5th 1983 by the official French importer Pozzi and has covered a reliable 87,870 kilometers since that date. The car is accident free, with a favourable technical control and a complete history and follow-up partially carried out within the official network of the brand; we note the presence of all the original manufacturer's booklets and instruction books, as well as the first aid kit and the toolbox. The car has just been serviced by a specialist and is ready for the road. Duplicate keys, Carvertical and Histovec gears are available.

ENGINE AND GEARBOX
The 32-valve, 3-liter V8 comes to life without a hitch, emits no suspicious smoke, stabilizes quickly, and simply requires gentle use in the first 15 minutes of driving to allow it to exploit its full range of use. Once started, the thrust is straightforward, linear and without any dip in power. The fantastic melody of the tubi-style exhaust contributes to the driving experience, without being too intrusive. The gearbox, relatively easy to use once warmed up, is easy to handle with a firm and very metallic feeling. In terms of maintenance, the timing belt was changed a few weeks ago.

EXTERIOR
Its square lines, typical of the 80's and necessarily less sporty as it is longer with the presence of rear seats, are often criticized by purists and fans of the brand, but the World has the merit of having an atypical design. The paint named Blu Sera Metalizato is in a very good state of conservation with nice thickness measurements and a very nice shine. There are no traces of corrosion on the underbody or wheel arches. Our model is equipped with rims allowing the installation of conventional tires, even if the original TRX rims are delivered with the vehicle. The exterior plastics and headlights have aged well and show no premature wear.

INTERIOR
Once inside the spacious and bright cabin, you will notice the electrical innovations initiated by the brand with the presence of many lights and other innovations on the dashboard tunnel, futuristic for its time. The very classic color combination Cream for the seats and Nero daytona for the upper parts and the dashboard is in good condition, the seats leaving in a few days in restoration of leather and carpets. As for the instrumentation, it is in working order and the black plastics have survived well.

CONSUMABLES
The Goodyear Efficient grip tires size 225/60 R16 102W rear date from early 2016 and do not show any advanced level of wear. As for the braking is biting and is not an expense in the near future.
