Description

This Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole from 1983 was for the European market and was delivered in Paris, finished in Argento silver with a Rosso red leather interior and a stylish Zegna woollen headliner. Powered by a 3.0-liter quad-cam V8 and a five-speed manual transmission. The car includes a limited slip differential as a factory option.

The car was delivered new in France to Ferrari dealer Charles Pozzi, it spent some time in Belgium before being bought by the seller and moving to the Netherlands in 2021. A Ferrari dealer carried out a major service in 2019 as well as a timing belt service.

Maintenance in 2021 included replacing fluids and replacing the alternator and belt. This Mondial QV has done 79,500 kilometres, it comes with an original Ferrari indoor cover, a tool / jack set, two keys, very extensive maintenance history until 1984, documentation from the manufacturer in a Ferrari case, maintenance booklets (replaced by the Ferrari Dealer) and a Dutch registration in the name of the seller.

The Pininfarina-designed body without sunroof is finished in Argento silver and was reportedly resprayed on the outside in 2016. Metric, original five-spoke wheels with Michelin TRX tyres from 2016 in mint condition. A matching spare wheel and original tyre is stored in the boot. It has ventilated disc brakes on all wheels.

Many suspension parts and engine gaskets were replaced during a major service in 2016, including timing and the windscreen. The other windows are original from 1983 with slight delamination on the rear window.

The interior is upholstered in Rosso red leather with a contrasting black leather dashboard option and black carpets. The leather is original and has minimal wear and discolouration matching the car’s age and mileage. It features electric windows, a gated shifter, air conditioning and an aftermarket stereo. The window on the driver's side works, but the mechanism makes a noise.

No further technical / electrical defects known.

The original MOMO steering wheel is in perfect condition. The Mondial has a speedometer up to 280 km/h, a tachometer with a redline of 7,800 rpm and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure and fuel level. The odometer indicates 79,500 kilometres, about 1,000 of those were done by the current owner. Electric controls for the valves, windows and antenna work.
