First announced on the 24th August 2004 - The F430 signalled the arrival of a brand new generation of Ferrari 8-cylinder models. This new car took Ferrari's extraordinary achievements with aluminium technology, that begun with the 360 Modena, to a whole new level offering a series of extremely significant innovations directly derived from the Ferrari Formula 1 single-seaters.

Two of these innovations were world firsts for production cars being the electronic differential (E-Diff) and the steering wheel-mounted switch (better known to the Formula 1 Scuderia's drivers as "manettino"), which manages the integrated systems governing the vehicles dynamics.

The F430 has a compact 4,300 cc 90° V8 engine, which punches out 490 hp; some 80 hp increase over the 360 Modena it replaced.  The powerplant achieved a specific output of 114 hp/litre, providing the Ferrari with a power to weight ratio of 2.8 kg/hp (dry weight. The F430 could achieve a 0-62 mph sprint of around 4 seconds and a top speed in excess of 196 mph.

Another particular advance made by the 430 was the aerodynamic design that embodied the very latest competition technologies, specifically the flat underbody and large rear diffuser to help increase downforce.

First registered in June 2008, our Ferrari F430 was ordered new through Graypaul Ferrari Nottingham in the menacing combination of Nero DS over a Nero interior. Further enhancing the desirability of this example, the first owner ordered the car with the following key options; the rare factory-fitted carbon-fibre Challenge rear grille section, 19-inch BBS Challenge alloy wheels, and the carbon-fibre interior trim package. Further options were also added including the popular Daytona-style seats, Ferrari media system including the factory fitted CD-player, Scuderia wing shields, Giallo brake callipers, front and rear parking sensors, Giallo rev-counter and satellite navigation. 

Remarkably, we have the privilege of offering this F430 from the first and only owner with whom the car has covered under 1,000 miles from new. Upon taking delivery, the first owner used the car sparingly before professionally storing the car alongside his collection of modern supercars. Despite the minimal mileage covered during his ownership, the car has been maintained when needed including a major service by Joe Macari's Official Ferrari Service Centre which included the fitment of a new auxiliary belt. Upon removing the car from long-term storage earlier this year, the vehicle was inspected along with a minor service and MOT.

Presenting in truly fabulous condition, as one would expect for the mileage, this F430 is currently undergoing a major service and thorough mechanical overhaul.
