Ferrari 430 Scuderia

No other road car fits the addition “Scuderia” better than the Ferrari 430. After all, the hardcore supercar comes straight from the Italian racing (s)table. That’s right: just like predecessor Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia is not a track record breaking upgrade of the "standard" model, but a full Ferrari racer, approved for the use on public roads.
The color of this “Prins Edition” is just as fiery as the car itself: Rosso Scuderia; what else? Moreover, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia is in absolutely immaculate condition and the fire-red purebred horse has had only 2 previous owners. The street legal racer has been maintained by official dealer F.M.A. (Ferrari Maserati Antwerp), doing an awesome job by keeping it in the best possible shape. In short, every detail points into the direction of an overwhelming performance, on and off track. Who’s ready for it?

Exterior
Like a genuine creation of the Scuderia, the beautiful bodywork isn’t red everywhere. The bright Rosso Scuderia paintwork has some stylish contrast, thanks to a NART Racing Striping in Grigio with Nero piping. Besides providing a stronger contrast, the black piping matches the carbon exterior mirrors and carbon interior finish in a brilliant way. The Rosso Scuderia brake calipers are the ultimate reflection of the racy character plus the rest of the body paint.
At the front, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia can be recognized by a more prominent front spoiler and ditto air intakes. Furthermore, it distinguishes itself with anthracite-colored lightweight wheels, a carbon grille at the rear and higher-placed exhausts right below the grille. From every angle you can see the unadulterated racing car called Ferrari F430 Challenge in it; the car this Scuderia version descends from.

Interior
No lack of consistency on board the Scuderia as well: anywhere you look, you’ll see Nero Alcantara finishes with Rosso stitching. And by anywhere, we really mean everywhere: on the Carbon Racing Seats - including Rosso 3D Fabric inner track, on the dashboard, center console, the lower part of the steering wheel, the window pillars and on the roof liner too. How about the door panels and tunnel console? Those couldn’t be stitched because of the material: all made of carbon fiber! Just like the Racing Seats and the upper part of the steering wheel with integrated LED Shift Indicator.
Other Rosso interior details can be found on the stitched Prancing Horse logos in the headrests, on the 4-Point Racing Harness and factory fitted Fire Extinguisher. The Giallo rev-counter stands out thanks to its alternative Ferrari color. On a track-prepared thoroughbred like the 430 Scuderia, an original factory fitted Legal Roll Bar shouldn't miss either. Against all odds the luggage compartment is fully upholstered. However, this option has been carefully chosen just as well...

Options & extras
The modest, yet beautifully finished luggage compartment swallows up an original Ferrari Trolley set + Soft bag, which are both included. Having any travel plans? On the way you may enjoy the music on your iPod or on the original Ferrari radio / navigation system. In this way, the designers once again make very clear that the full-fledged racer is just as suitable for doing an everyday job. Although we guess it goes a bit too far to use it for grocery shopping on a daily basis. Because this isn’t quite the kind of car you leave in a busy parking lot easily, do you?

Technique & performance
On a smooth piece of asphalt with no traffic regulations, far away from the shopping mall, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia is much more in its element. Thanks to a weight loss cure that puts 100 kg less on the scales, the Scuderia already behaves a lot more light-footed than the "standard" F430. The Scuderia has even more grip and turns in at curves with so much bite and confidence, it almost scares you. Aided by a power increase of 20 hp, the 430 Scuderia doesn't only feel faster, it truly is faster; in corners and on the straight. Accelerating from 0-100 km/h takes 3.5 seconds and the top speed has been increased all the way up to 319 km/h.
The 430 Scuderia is a real legend. That can’t be a coincidence: 7-time World Champion Formula 1 Michael Schumacher was involved in the development of the extraordinary Ferrari. It’s partly thanks to the F1 legend that shifting takes no longer than 60 milliseconds and one lap at Fiorano is completed in exactly the same time as in Ferrari’s hypercar called Enzo. Bonus: the screaming and roaring of the upgraded 4.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 sounds just a bit sharper and more spectacular than a heavier 6.0 V12. In other words: less engine capacity means more driving sensation. Who would not want that?

Kind regards,
Prins Esclusivo
