UK-supplied on the 21st March 2007 to the first of three former ownersThe 11,250 miles is complemented by a superb main dealer maintenance recordWith 12 service stamps the car was last serviced in July by Dick Lovett, SwindonWell presented in the classic colours of Rossa Corsa with Crema leather interior and Daytona seatsSupplied with a UK V5c, tool kits, service book and a history showing reams of receiptsManufactured from 2004 until 2009, the Ferrari F430 was the successor to the enormously successful 360M. According to its creators, the F430 was at least 70% new compared with the 360. It had a new engine, a new F1 gearbox, a new diff and a brand-new chassis, it was pretty much a ground-up re-design. Only the bonnet, doors, and roof were carried over; the rest, even the door mirrors, were all new and largely the work of Pininfarina, overseen by Ferraris design chief, Frank Stephenson. The fabulously sounding 4.3-litre V8 will rocket this very sleek Ferrari from 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds and on to a maximum speed in excess of 196mph. Having been designed initially with a later convertible in mind, the arrival of the Spider in 2005 was no surprise. Weighing only a few pounds more than the Berlinetta and having been designed with the aid of the company's F1 aerodynamicists, the Spider is just as fast and its top speed is only a few miles an hour less. The ingenious electric soft-top mechanism works quickly and makes its predecessor seem almost ponderous by comparison.Supplied new by Lancaster Ferrari of Colchester on the 21st March 2007, to the first of three former owners, this immaculate F430 F1 Spider was specified in Rossa Corsa with a Crema leather interior and Daytona seats. It has the added distinction of being one of the very few 60th Anniversary Edition Spiders supplied to the UK. The Anniversary Edition was fitted with a number of factory options as standard and these include Ferrari sports exhaust, Scuderia Shields, yellow calipers, Bose stereo upgrade, carbon fibre dash, 6-Disc CD, navigation system, full cockpit extended leather, Yellow Rev Counter, electric heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, along with air conditioning and launch control to mention a few.Used sparingly by its previous custodians, it is good to note that the heat shields in the engine bay show very little distortion or loss of colour, a common issue with well-travelled F430s of the era.The car has one of the finest service records for an F430 we have seen and has been main dealer serviced at the following intervals:03/04/2008 Lancaster Ferrari, Colchester at 2,192 miles03/04/2009 Lancaster Ferrari, Colchester at 2,950 miles29/01/2010 H.R.
