The replacement for Ferrari’s 599 GTB Fiorano, the F12berlinetta took center stage as Ferrari’s new flagship twelve-cylinder at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. A descendant of the great grand touring berlinettas of the 1950s and 1960s, the F12berlinetta boasts not only remarkable looks, but equally remarkable performance. Its 6,262-cc V-12 produces a monumental 730 bhp, leading a 0–60 mph time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of over 211 mph. Its use of unique aerodynamic solutions included the unique Aero Bridge, which created down force using the bonnet to channel air to both sides of the car just aft of the front wheel, as well as the car’s active brake cooling system, which channels air towards the brakes through the nose when cooling is needed most.
