Description

Now available is this superbly maintained Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, finished in Rosso Corsa with Nero leather interior.

The 612 Scaglietti is the result of an avant-garde design that continues the great Ferrari 2+2 tradition in fabulous style. Penned by Pininfarina, the 612 Scaglietti is named in honour of Sergio Scaglietti, the legendary Modenese stylist and coachbuilder responsible for bodying some of the most beautiful Ferraris of the 1950s and 60s.

Masterfully styled by Pininfarina, its good looks are as innovative as the design of the 612 Scaglietti, and exude dynamism and power. The result is an imposing car, with a long sleek bonnet, strong lines and signature scooped flanks borrowed from the famous Rossellini-Bergman 37 MM. The cabin can be completely personalised to the Client’s taste, and features high-tech aluminium elements and handcrafted full-grain leather trim.

The 612's powerplant is a 5.7 Litre V12 also used in the 575 Superamerica. This produces 533 horsepower, coupled with either a 6- speed manual or F1 paddle shift semi-automatic gearbox. Due to its impressive performance and rise in popularity, the F1 gearbox was more commonly fitted in cars from this era. The gearbox designated 'F1A' was a much refined version found in the Ferrari 360.

This lovely example was supplied new on 16/03/2005 in Singapore by Hong Seh Motors, the Ferrari and Maserati main dealer, to a special Ferrari client and collector whom owned the car until 2013. The car was maintained by Hong Seh Motors regularly, evident from the multiple invoices accompanied by service stamps in its original service book. The car was then sold in 2015 to its second owner who wanted to use the car while visiting his home in the UK. It was shipped over and used for a short period before being sold to its first offical UK owner, a long standing customer of Furlonger with various Ferrari's. Furlonger workshops were instructed to carry out a major service with cambelts among many other works to ensure that the car was prepared to the highest standard at a total cost of £7,000. The car has been maintained by Furlonger since and is ready to find a new home.
