HGTE stands for "Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione" (handling and drivability improved).

When it was first launched, the 599 GTB was the most high-performance Berlinetta ever built in Maranello. It boasts the most innovative and technologically advanced features ever to be used by Ferrari in a mid-front-engined two-seater. The HGTE package is designed to deliver even sportier, more dynamic driving, to highlight the 599 GTB Fiorano's positioning in the supercar segment.

It is quite a drivable car and relatively easy to drive fast. At the heart of every Ferrari is the engine and the 599's heart is probably one of the most impressive Maranello has ever built: it has the same engine as the Ferrari Enzo, a 6L V12 pushing 620 hp with a max speed of over 335 km/h (0-100=3,4 sec).

Its design is just amazing. The highlight of this unit is its Rosso Bruno exterior - it is the ONLY Ferrari 599 in this original and wonderful paint. Its beige leather interior contrasts in a very elegant way, and gives it a classic touch.
