This is the very last 400i sold in the UK and it is also one of the finest, it has covered only 32,000 miles from new and remains in superb original order throughout.
First registered on the first of March 1985, the car was sold when new by Maranello Concessionaires to a Mr Van Gils of St Georges Hill, Weybridge, Surrey. He retained the car for a number of years but used it sparingly; the car had covered only 11,000 miles by its third birthday. The car has continued to be used sparingly; MoT certificates and the service book indicate that the mileage increased from only 14,577 miles in December 1993 to 26,000 miles in February 2006.
The most recent owner looked at eleven 400i examples for sale before finding and purchasing this car. He had long dreamt of a 400i but had almost given up hope of finding a good car; in his words even the low mileage cars he looked at proved to be rather tatty and tired upon clo
