The 365 GTC/4 was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1971. Its mission was to take over from the 365 GTC, with a major stylistic departure: curves were replaced by taut lines. Production moved to Maranello to replace the 365 GT 2+2, which was not replaced until 1972.

On the mechanical side, the GTC/4 is based on the GTB/4 ("Daytona"), reworked for the occasion. More spacious than the latter, it offers two small rear seats. Production lasted just over a year, with only 500 examples built. Finally, the 365 GTC/4 saw the inauguration of a different chassis numbering system, preceded by F101AC100.

The one presented here was delivered new to Italy, where it is still registered, with its original black plates. Its configuration makes it original and firmly rooted in its period of production. This 365 GTC/4 comes with its own set of keys, as well as accessories such as a spare wheel, jack and window crank. The engine was completely reassembled and tuned in October 2023.
