At the end of 1968, the 365 GTC took over from the 330. It differs from the model it replaces only in the position of the engine vents, which are now located on the hood rather than on the wings. The real change is technical, with the adoption of a 4.4-liter powertrain, as also found on the 2+2 for over a year now. Top speed will change only slightly, with acceleration the main focus. Production lasted no more than a year, resulting in a particularly low number of models produced, barely exceeding 150 units.

Its ignition wire set was replaced in 2016 by Dino Sport, with removal/replacement of the igniter heads, as was an oil change in July 2023. It will be delivered to its new owner with its billing history, spare wheel and jack, as well as the Ferrari Classiche file.
