The car has been delivered new to the official Ferrari dealer in Qatar and was first owned by a member of the Royal Family of Qatar who only used the car for a short period of time which resulted in a total mileage of ca. 3.000km before being put up for sale. Subsequently bought by a Swiss who was back in the days the general manager of the group which was in charge of importing and selling several brands in Qatar including Ferrari. Being Swiss he took the car back to his native country in 1978 where the official first registration took place in July the same year. In the following years the car has only been used sporadically accumulating ca. 9.000km. In 1985 the owner decided to de-register the car and put it into storage. In 2019 the son of the owner took care of the ownership and decided to restore the car prior to selling it to its current owner.
Today the car represents itself in very good condition and is ready to be enjoyed by its next care taker.
