Around the turn of the century, Ferrari created a replacement for the F355, the 360 Modena. A properly modern car for the new millennium, the 360 featured numerous advances for greater drivability, serviceability, and reliability —xenon lamps, easier timing belt access not requiring engine-out services, an aluminum space frame chassis, and extensively revised creature comforts and drivetrain improvements, amongst others.

A fun, mid-engine ‘pocket rocket’, the 360 produced a nudge under 400hp, with a claimed top speed of 295kmph. A more technological machine compared to the analog F355, the 360 is refined and thrilling, far more planted, compliant and precise than its predecessor. The angular Fioravanti lines are replaced by an all-out redesign for the expectations of 21st century consumer, adorning a curvaceous body that, while bigger in scale than the F355, maintains balance and proportion in uniquely Italian fashion.

Right after the track-focused 360 Challenge Stradale, the gated manual 360 Spider remains the second rarest variant: only 2,119 were built for the global market.

This particular car, finished in the brand’s signature Giallo Modena, was manufactured in February 2002 and delivered to its first owner the following month, still in Italy. With a mileage slightly under 6,500 kilometers, this 360 Spider has received a fresh timing belt service in July 2021 and is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next owner.
