Description

Since the end of 1964 and the withdrawal of the range of the 250 GT Lusso, Ferrari no longer has a model intermediate between the sporty berlinetta and the 2+2 coupe. In March 1966, during the Geneva Motor Show unveiling, Ferrari introduced the model intended to bridge the gap between the 275 GTB and the 330 GT 2+2, seamlessly integrating into their lineup. Positioned between the 275 GTB and the 330 GT 2+2, this car featured a design by Pininfarina that combined the front of the 500 Superfast with the rear of the 275 GTS. The front fenders also sported the distinctive vents of the 500 Superfast. Its chassis boasted independent suspension on all four wheels.Production will extend until 1968 without significant changes, paving the way for the introduction of the 365 GTC.

The model offered here was originally sold new in March 1967 by Garage Francorchamps to its manager, Jacques Swaters, who kept it for quite some time. It wasn't until 1989 that it changed hands and joined Fabrizio Violati's collection. Anna Ferretti became the third owner in 2014 before selling it three years later to its current owner. In 2018, the engine was rebuilt by Donati (CH), and the car underwent an extensive renovation. The vehicle comes with its tool kit (partially complete), a 2018 FFVE certificate, a Ferrari Classiche dossier, a report by Marcel Massini from March 2024, its billing history, and its owner's manual in its original pouch.
