Ferrari 308 GTB Carburetor dry sump EU version 1977

We are proud to offer one of the 2,897 European 308 GTBs produced from 1975-1980. This first series is highly sought after because of the carburetors and Dry-sump lubrication. Our July 1977 308 is one of the first produced with a steel body.

The 308 body was designed by Leonardo Fioravanti of design house Pininfarina. He was responsible for the Daytona, Berlinetta Boxer and the Dino 206/246. In 1975, the 308 GTB was introduced as a successor to the Dino at the Paris Motor Show. First with a plastic body (Vetroresina) and from July 1977 with a steel body. Our 308 GTB is from July 1977 and is therefore one of the first produced with a steel body

This European Ferrari 308 GTB is in top condition and was fully restored in the 1990s 'Bare metal, nuts & bolts'. A very extensive photo report is available. The paintwork is now, 20 years later, still in excellent condition. Technically, this 308 GTB has not lacked anything. It has been carefully maintained by Ferrari specialist Italauto and Ferrari dealer Munsterhuis. No expense has been spared to keep this purebred horse in top condition. In the documentation we find more than € 22,000 worth of invoices.

The Ferrari 308 GTB offered by us has a rich history in the field of touring, events such as Italia a Zandvoort and Grand Tour Internazionale Di Sicilia Targa Florio. This is just a selection from the past of this 308 GTB.

But the feeling the car gives you as soon as you get behind the wheel, turn the ignition and start the 2,927cc liter V8 'dry-sump' engine with 4 twin Weber 40DCNF carburetors is perhaps the best thing. With 255 hp, this is the most powerful engine produced in the 308. From 1981 they have only 214 hp and from 1984 they have 240 hp.

Die Karosserie des 308 wurde von Leonardo Fioravanti vom Designhaus Pininfarina entworfen. Dieser europäische Ferrari 308 GTB ist in einem Top-Zustand und wurde in den 1990er Jahren komplett "Bare Metal, Nuts & Bolts" restauriert. Ein sehr umfangreicher Fotobericht liegt vor. Der Lack ist jetzt, 20 Jahre später, immer noch in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Technisch hat es diesem 308 GTB an nichts gefehlt. Es wurde vom Ferrari-Spezialisten Italauto und dem Ferrari-Händler Munsterhuis sorgfältig gewartet. Es wurden keine Kosten gescheut, um dieses reinrassige Pferd in Topform zu halten. In der Dokumentation finden wir Rechnungen im Wert von mehr als 22.000 €.
