In 1958 the FVS which was powered by powerful "Hemi" V8 supplied by Chrysler. Shifting the new Fanco-American design was a choice of four-speed manual transmission of the push-button operated Power-Flite automatic. This car was a mixture of old-world body construction combined with a modern drive-train, and it was well received. Just 85 units were produced in 1958 for its premiere model year, and finding an original example in decent condition is a rare treat indeed.
