We have a unique Donkervoort D8 270 RS Limited Edition Dutch supplied from new on the 7th April 2006. This 3-owner car has only clocked up 61,403 km. This is number 7 of 25 limited edition D8 270 RS Donkervoorts. They were built to celebrate the Donkervoorts’ prestigious achievements in 2004 and 2005 on the famous Nordschleife of the illustrious Nurburgring breaking the track record with a time of 7 minutes and 14.89 seconds. At the time that was a full 14 seconds faster than a Porsche Carrera GT! In 2010 this car was completely rebuilt by Donkervoort Automobielen themselves. It now has programmable traction control, carbon GT dashboard with led lights, GT4 factory update that includes a different exhaust and sports catalyser (291 hp), racing fire extinguisher, STACK counter, shiftlight and lap-timer module, dashboard adjustable braking power distributor, F1 carbon mirrors, MOMO racing steering wheel with STACK control panel and indictor lights, Stinger/ traction control, killswitch inside/outside, carbon sump protector, fully adjustable all-round WP shock breakers, folding soft top and parking sleeve, original GTO led rear lights, modified Wilwoord braking system with large double ventilated discs, larger lightweight cooler, 17 inch rims, class-3 alarm, 6-point Luke seat belts, airplane intercom system and many carbon components. All of the updates and work has been carried out with the upmost care and attention to detail. Apart from the many invoices this car has naturally comes with a certificate of authenticity. Besides all of the alterations the car also has a ‘GTO’ look nose. The standard factory issued classic look nose with two round headlights is present and can be quickly changed over. This car has the original ‘BMW Mauritius Blue metallic’ finish with a navy blue interior trim and matching hood. This is a unique car with a weight to power ratio that even a motorbike would be jealous of, 300 HP to 660 Kg! Sensational road holding with 0-100 km/hr in less than 4 seconds!
