- Olympic chassis with triple carburetors
- Superb design, three known cars

Approved by the French homologation authorities on 11 April 1939, the Delage D6 3L was offered in two wheelbases of 3.15 and 3.30m, while the Olympic version was based on the shorter chassis and had a more powerful engine thanks to triple carburetors. The D6 3L was on offer after the Second World War, and the model on offer is one of them. This Olympic chassis left the factory at the end of 1947 to be coachbuilt by L&A Dens Frères, in Antwerp, and the car received an elegant 4-seater cabriolet body with a hood, three of which would have been made. Proof that the pontoon line had not yet convinced all the coachbuilders by the end of the 1940s, it was the fluidity of its line, especially at the rear, which seduced Alain Ragault and convinced him to make an exception to Facel Vega! The car has had an older restoration when it was purchased in 2006. An old invoice mentions a repair of the Cotal gearbox in 1985 when the beautiful convertible had been registered in the Val d'Oise (since 1982). An extensive list of maintenance work carried out between 2006 and 2018 is on file. A general overhaul will need to be carried out before the car can hit the road again, but this Delage with its high-performance chassis and rare bodywork deserves to join a fine collection.
