Description

"The Daimler Century was launched in 1996 to celebrate 100 years of Britain’s oldest car manufacturer. This ultra luxurious long wheelbase version of the Jaguar saloon, codenamed X300, was equipped with every option available plus a few more besides. Limited to a worldwide production run of 100 each of the 4.0 litre and 6.0 litre versions they, unsurprisingly, sold quickly. This model rarely comes to market with most being kept in private collections.
This 4.0 litre version known as a Daimler Six Century presents well in the elegant combination of Anthracite black with a silk white interior. Supplied by the franchised retailer Mead of Blackburn in January 1997, this one owner car retains the original dealer window sticker, key fobs and original rear number plate. This stunning low mileage example features the individual badging to the rear, the treadplates, the glove box and the lower front wings found only on the Century model. The look is complemented with chrome turbine alloys and a side chrome strip. The interior features vanity mirrors set in the roof for the rear passengers who also enjoy the comfort of the fully electric individual seats. This Daimler offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate represents an opportunity to own a low mileage example of this rare car."
