Definitely an incredibly important piece of British history, this Daimler Sports Saloon has a fascinating and well documented history of its own- being the very car used by the Duke of Windsor himself when delivered new in 1938.

This iconic 8 cylinder fitted with its original bodywork by coachbuilders Freestone & Webb, its 3.4 litre well proven engine and the semi automatic Wilson pre - select gearbox is today, described to be in very good condition. The body is in equally fine fettle and has a big sunroof, as ordered by the Duke of Windsor.

Supplied in two shades of green with its original brown leather interior, this impressive Motorcar comes complete with its original handbook and service documents. After the Dukes ownership, the car passed hands to its 2nd. owner - High Commissioner McCloy. McCloy owned the car until 1957. That same year the Dai
