Description

This top model of the Daimler, called Double-Six Series 1 Van Den Plas, was delivered on July 1, 1973. With three owners till today, it is a very exceptional car. The last owner has owned the car for almost 20 years now as part of its large collection of English classics, but wants to make room for new purchases. Those who rank themselves as a price buyer, might do well to look further on the various “bargain sites” because it should be clear that this Daimler is not one of them. What is it then? A more than sublime classic, the quality of which is so high that we can say that there are hardly comparable ones of this caliber.

The enthusiast who only is interested for the very best; that’s the person we’re looking for. The person who knows what he is talking about and can estimate how much effort and money it took to bring the car to this high level. It is clear that this is a lot above the current asking price, but hobbies simply cost money, says the owner. At least he has had a very nice and trouble-free car for a long time. The investment in technical and bodywork started in 2003 and was carried out by Jaguar restorer Stenger from Almelo Netherlands. A part of the work that was done is the installation of a reliable injection system and modified airconditioning system. number of photos and many invoices and documents show that the Daimler has been extensively refurbished with a result that still looks like it was done yesterday. Sublime to the last bolt and ready to compete in any concours d’ élegance.

We speak of a matching numbers car and a an official Heritage Certificate proves that. The person who only want the best is welcome to come and see the car in detail. No time for that? We are happy to make a personal video for you. The wonderful smell of the V-12 and soft leather, you have to imagine yourself … Knowing that the car can be delivered to your home a few days later, it should be possible, right?
