The Le Caddy is one of only 34 Décapotable built by Henri Chapron. In 2006 this example of Chapron's rare coachbuilt Citroëns was fully restored to concours standard. Today it is presented in a beautiful metallic Maroon with Tan leather and has the ingenious semi-automatic transmission. Testament to the high quality of the restoration, it featured as the cover-story car for the October 2007 edition of the Italian motoring magazine 'Ruote Classiche' (copy on file) and in 2015 was presented at the Chantilly Concours d'Élégance. In recent years the Le Caddy has been serviced and updated by the renowned marque specialists, Andrew Brodie Engineering Ltd, who fitted modern charging and ignition systems to ensure reliability. A new windscreen to replace the slightly clouded original has been fitted also on the instruction of the previous fastidious owner.
