This car is one of the rare Citroën BX 4TC (4-wheel drive Turbo Competition) entirely in original condition, not amended by competitions and modifications. Its current owner acquired it in 1988 from a Citroën employee and used it occasionally, especially between the Paris region and his country house in the Orleans area. The car only has a mileage of 37,115 km since new. He confided to us that he was won over by the BX's driving behaviour at high speed. As evidenced by both the service and user logbooks, this car has been carefully taken care of and it shows. The original paint remains beautiful and the car has all the featured special equipment. The original interior is well preserved and the engine bay (with its original engine) still has its factory stickers.
The BX 4TC was a formidable road machine and built for Group B homologation, with its 4-cylinder turbo engine associated with an all-wheel drive. According to regulations, its production was limited to 200 units, however many 4TCs were destroyed at the time.
This BX represents a very rare opportunity to acquire a machine designed for racing, which has however remained faithful to its original characteristics thanks to the great care by its sole owner for 34 years.
