Citroën 5hp from 1925 in very good condition.

This vehicle was fully disassembled and restored, part by part. Every part was replaced and it was thoroughly cleaned, protected and reassembled.

When it comes to its bodywork, the internal wooden parts were in very good condition and the chassis was fine. Only some parts in the bottom and around the pedals required being replaced.

The mechanical part was entirely repaired by replacing used up or damaged parts for new ones. The engine was disassembled and repaired in a specialised car garage by assembling new bearing sleeves. Also, new fragments were placed in pistons, as well as a complete set of joints. The clutch was newly lined and the transmission bending was newly assembled. The rear brakes were repaired by assembling new break pads.

The interior is in perfect condition, as it was upholstered about 15 years ago, and it looks new because it has never been used. The same is true of the hood, which was newly reassembled 15 years ago and has never seen the light of a day because it has always been kept, except for a few short drives just for the sake of running-in.

It has some vintage clocks and a very beautiful vintage Bosh horn. The chrome-plated parts are in good condition and do not require any repairs.

This vehicle was repaired on a whim by a person who has a small museum in his house; the car would start and work fine, however, it requires reshaping if one wants to use it regularly. But as we say, just a simple reshaping is needed because the vehicle would start well.

The MOT Test expired in 2020 due to non-use. We attach some photos of the reparation, which you can see at the end of the report.
