This example is in a remarkable and rare state of preservation, which can certainly be explained by the very low mileage of 20,845 km from new. This is a very desirable and much sought-after Charleston version combining cormorant grey and night grey with a grey fabric interior. Registered on 18 January 1989, it is one of the very last examples produced of this legendary French car. Its owner, a true specialist of the model, acquired it in 2015. In order to perfect its condition, this 2 CV was fitted with a stainless-steel exhaust system, electronic ignition, a second exterior mirror, and a combustion catalyst allowing it to run on unleaded petrol. It was also overhauled, and its four tires have recently been replaced. The seats have been covered with a cover similar to the original ones, being the element of the car which had slightly weathered by time, the soft top is original, and it has its duplicate keys. Its controls and handling are extremely smooth, proof of the condition of this model.
