Iconic and usable

The Charleston was born in 1981 as a limited edition produced in only 8,000 examples. However, its success was so great that Citroen decided to include it in the range as an option and no longer as a limited edition. Iconic and instantly recognisable with its two-tone livery, the Charleston remained available until the end of 2CV production on 27 July 1990, the last 2CV to be produced being a 2CV with Charleston trim.

This beautiful 1986 2CV Charleston has remained in the same family since new, passing from the first owner to his 2 grandchildren in its first 30 years of life. Purchased by the current owner in 2016, it was professionally restored from February to June of that year being completely disassembled, sandblasted and repainted. It retains a high level of originality and attention to detail, and still has its first Milan plates and first registration booklet.

Certainly one of the best 2CV Charleston's around, it is a ready-to-use car and great for the warm weather ahead.
