MORE DETAILS

• 425 cm³ engine
• Colour: AC 132 Light Grey
• Dark green soft top and green Bayadère upholstery
HISTORY
Our AZL rolled off the production line on 20 October 1957, as indicated by the stamp still visible on the firewall.
It was delivered new to the Citroën Rusu dealership on Avenue Henri Barbusse in Colombes (Paris area) and registered on 22 December, just before Christmas 1957.
Its registration number, still painted on the bodywork, tells us that it was transferred to the Yonne department during 1958.
It remained there until 2011.
BODYWORK / PAINTWORK
Entirely original; the very thin paintwork has revealed some very slight surface rust.
No structural or perforating corrosion
Chassis and floor panels in very good condition
The usual signs of wear and tear on a 2CV are not present, which convinces us that the 18,000 km on the odometer is genuine!
INTERIOR
The green Bayadère fabric has never been replaced and shows no tears.
Time has left a few marks and stains on it.
The green soft top is intact but has become stiff over time and is very difficult to open.
Despite their flaws, these features must be preserved on the car.
The seat frames and the gear lever knob have the light colour typical of AZL models.
The grey door panels and the 4-riveted sun visors made of paper pulp are preserved.
MECHANICS
Runs very well.
The car will be sold fully serviced
Buying this 2CV is a bit like buying a genuine piece of the Eiffel Tower: a piece of France’s industrial history!
