This 300F is a true time capsule, presenting in a highly original fashion. Between 2003 and 2014, this example was subject to a masterful restoration at a total cost of around $250,000. During this process no expense was spared and extreme attention to detail was paid. The Toreador Red paintwork is flawless and is enhanced by its contrasting tan interior. The undercarriage and engine bay are spotless; a testament to the outstanding level of restoration.

It's matching-numbers 6.8L V8 produces 375hp and is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission, both of which are in excellent mechanical condition. As one of the fastest cars in its day, the 300F also provided the comfort and luxury expected of an American grand tourer. During the restoration process a complete driveline refurbishment was completed, making this example a pleasure to drive.

Accompanying this 300F is an extensive history file containing detailed photos and receipts of the restoration process, original spare keys, original brochures, ownership history, parts lists and service manuals.

When the 1960 Chrysler 300F was unveiled to the public, it cemented the Chrysler Letter Series into a class of its own and was hailed by the press as the most beautiful car America has ever built. Its sleek, yet elegant aircraft-inspired body lines were complemented by a 6.8L V8 powerhouse, delivering ground-breaking performance for its time, and resulting in it's fitting nickname “the Gentleman's Hot Rod”. Only 1217 of these iconic vehicles were built in a short one-year production run and only 969 of these were coupes, making this 300F extremely rare and highly collectable.
