CONDITION

This 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe 2-door sedan is a professionally built custom street rod finished in blue with contrasting dark blue side accents, hand-laid pinstriping, and extensive custom metalwork throughout the original steel body. The flowing fenders, chrome grille and bumpers, custom mirrors, frenched details, and lowered stance retain the unmistakable character of the 1940 Chevrolet while giving the car a refined custom appearance. Inside, the gray custom interior features contoured front seats, a matching rear bench, coordinated door panels and carpeting, a handmade center console, digital instrumentation, and Vintage Air air conditioning.

Power comes from a fuel-injected Ram Jet 350 V8 paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and an 8-inch Ford rear end. The chassis has been upgraded with rack-and-pinion steering, a custom suspension system, and power disc brakes. The engine compartment has also received extensive attention with more than 25 custom-fabricated components and coordinated detailing.
