Description

In an age where the best-selling cars are pickup trucks, it's easy to forget that pickups were once the province of farmers and tradesmen, vehicles built for utility, not style. Credit Chevrolet for changing all that, with these early 50s pickups, and as long as they've been fashionable, it has been equally in vogue for them to be the basis for customizing.

Presented in a stunning scheme of matt black with red and black interior with black carpeting, over $100,000 has been spent on the creation of this Resto-Rod Pick-Up Truck's performance and looks. It began as a 5 window standard truck and was subjected to a ground up, body off frame restoration. Beginning with a powder coated frame, it is powered by a GMPP 350 Crate Motor with full Billet Dress-Up Kit and Billet specialties serpentine kit. It has full polished hot rod headers, B&M Torque Master transmission, Billet Suspension, Heidts Super Ride, 4 wheel power disc brakes, and a 19 gallon fuel tank.
