We have a beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray Coupé. When seeing such a model we have to concede that such wonderful and extravagant styling is definitely a thing of the past. These days design as daring as the C2 Stingray Coupé never leave the designers sketchbook. This example has the popular and much loved 327 Cubic Inch Turbo Fire Motor attached to a 2-speed automatic Powerglide transmission.

This car is in excellent condition and comes with an attractive blue exterior and interior finish. The car has always been in the hands of people who clearly have cherished it and has only clocked up 84,041 miles. The resprayed exterior has held up very well. The fibreglass bodywork looks fantastic. The car also has splendid, correctly sized, white-walled tyres on original Corvette rims.

The previous owner not only looked after the Corvette’s exterior in an exemplary fashion, but he also looked after the mechanical side of things. Besides being mechanically sound it also sports a few attractive upgrades. The brake system was converted from a single system to a split system for front and back. The drum brakes have been replaced with disc brakes, a Borgeson steering house with power steering was fitted, electronic ignition was fitted as were Edelbrock 5089 cylinder heads with new valves, an Edelbrock rocker cover, Edelbrock carburettor and filter, the automatic was refurbished, hidden

Alpine speakers were built-in together with a Bluetooth amplifier. All in all, this delivers one heck of a Corvette to sit behind the wheel in.

The interior has been very well looked after over the years. The wonderfully supple leather has begun to develop a fine patina. The dashboard, roof lining and door cards are all in fine condition. All instruments and controls are in great working order. Driving this Corvette is an unmitigated delight thanks to the extensive maintenance and upgrades. The car has nice road manners with bumps pleasantly ironed out by its suspension. The new braking system gives you a lot of trust and feedback and thanks to the new steering housing corners well.
