History:
Introduced in 1963, the Corvette C2 Sting Ray marked a break in the history of the American sports car: bodywork designed under the direction of Bill Mitchell, pop-up headlights, independent rear suspension, and a 327 cubic inch V8. The 1964 model year dropped the famous split rear window of 1963 in favor of a more practical one-piece window.
This example spent about ten years in the Netherlands before being sold in October 2024 to the current owner.
He then invested more than EUR 22,000 to modernize the braking and cooling systems.
Condition:
This Corvette C2 Sting Ray is presented in very good condition.
🚘 The bodywork is in very good condition. The metallic dark blue paint is glossy and uniform. The body panels and chrome trim are in excellent condition. The car is fitted with new knock-off style wheels with 5-bolt fixing, equivalent to the 1967 knock-off wheels.
The cabin is in very good state of preservation. The black leather upholstery presents well. It is neither torn nor holed. The dashboard is well preserved, and the carpets look very good. The clock and the radio do not work.
⚙️ The 327 V8 runs normally. It is cooled by a new radiator with an additional fan, replaced in April 2026. The gears shift without a hitch. The braking system was entirely modernized, with EUR 7,185 excl. tax of parts. Electric power steering was installed in April 2025.
