Out of a total of 21,513 units built in model year '63, 10,594 (49%) were a Coupé with the famous split-window.

This Corvette is equipped with the 327ci, 300 HP engine, a total of 8,033 Corvettes (37%) from that model year had this engine.
Even rarer is the installed Powerglide automatic gearbox, used in only 2,621 units (12%).

The miles were driven from 1963 to 1975. It was then disassembled for restoration and spent about 27 years in boxes.
It was then body-off restored from 2002 to 2004 with matching numbers. Never really driven again since so it’s almost in excellent condition!
The split-window was purchased in Illinois in 2006 and imported to the Netherlands, import duties were paid, but it was never registered.

Stored in a heated garage, it was started and moved regularly to keep it in good condition.
This 1963 split-window Corvette was valued by Classic Data in 2021 and rated a 2+.
Insured market value €160,000.
The extensive documentation available includes historical dates regarding the owners and invoices for the extensive restoration. A list of dates is also available regarding the matching numbers.

The Corvette starts immediately at the moment, as soon as you turn the key.
However, due to known fuel supply problems caused by standing still, the engine does not continue to run.
Before delivery, all components in the fuel supply (pump, filter and carburettor) will be expertly cleaned and, if necessary, overhauled to ensure an optimally running V8.

It is recommended to view the vehicle prior to placing a bid in order to prevent disappointment afterwards.
