To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launch of their legendary Camaro in 1967, Chevrolet announced a special commemorative edition. It was to be called the "Fifty", was available on both the LT and SS models, and was introduced in the Summer of 2017. The majority of the cars were finished in a unique Nightfall Grey exterior colour with an orange stripe package and the interiors were black with suede accents and orange contrast stitching. The interior also featured the 50th-anniversary logo on the seatbacks, steering wheel, and illuminated door sill plates. In addition, 50th-anniversary models sat on 20" wheels with orange-painted brake calipers and a bespoke grille with satin chrome accents. This 2017, left-hand drive Camaro SS 'Fifty' has covered just 2,618 miles and is in remarkable condition. It’s been in the UK from new and is registered here with all taxes paid etc. It is indeed finished in Nightfall Grey with the special-edition interior. Our vendor describes the coachwork, paintwork and interior as "Excellent", in fact, he describes everything about the car as "Excellent", not really surprising when you consider the caring ownership and tiny mileage. The 6.2 GM LS3 produces 455bhp from the factory and is mated to a modern 8-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shift behind the steering wheel. The boxes on the options list have been well ticked and they include an adjustable head up display, heated and a/c cooling seats. a rear-facing camera, sat nav, built-in WiFi to connect your devices, and a fitted car cover. Probably the ultimate 'toy' is a factory-fitted Borla exhaust system that enables you to change the exhaust note at the touch of a button.Whilst not limited-edition, these cars will undoubtedly be scarce in the UK and, if the mileage is kept reasonably low, may well have a long-term investment value. However, most of us would buy this car because it's a virtually new 'muscle-car in a distinctive livery, with 455bhp and an exhaust note that would 'waken the dead'.
