Bolero Red, that's the color of this iconic muscle car from the 1960s. The Chevrolet Camaro belongs to the list of well-known American sports cars from that time and the RS is also a special version, the Rally Sport.

The 1968 Camaro RS is one of the most iconic muscle cars of the 1960s. To compete with Ford's Mustang, Chevrolet introduces the Camaro to a young audience in the market for a sporty, high-performance sports car. The design cannot be confused with any other car. Under the hood of the RS is a 327” cubic inch V8 that produces 275 horsepower. You will understand: this will make a big impression in the late 1960s.

One of the most striking features of the Camaro are the hidden headlights, which give the appearance of a large grille on the front. Many owners from that time will remember that they themselves had to walk to the front to turn the hoods away by hand, as the system sometimes refused. We can already reveal: with this copy everything that has to do with this system, so the vacuum motors, tank, hoses and hoods and even the grille, has been renewed.

The car has been repainted in the past, the paint is therefore in a beautiful condition with full color and deep shine. The sheet metal fits are exceptionally neat. Much of the car's chrome has been replaced, such as bumpers and some moldings. Nothing about the Camaro detracts from the overall picture.
The interior is also exceptionally neat, with the dashboard, the beautiful instruments and controls and the upholstery and carpets all in a very good condition. The seats are very good and have a neat upholstery. Looking at the center tunnel, it is striking which transmission we are dealing with: the powerful V8 is coupled to an automatic Powerglide transmission that shifts and sounds as it should.

Speaking of the technology: the V8 starts and runs beautifully and is very well maintained. In 2020 a new exhaust system in original design was fitted, ensuring the characteristic 'gurgle' of the V8. In 2021 the subframe received new bushings, the rear axle new shock absorbers, new tires were mounted and the trunk got a new carpet.

All in all a Camaro RS in a fantastically maintained condition and very good driving.
