In immaculate condition, this 1957 Bel Air has been masterfully restored from the ground up. Presenting in Onyx Black with a unique silver and red interior, not an expense has been spared on this example. The paint-work and chrome are outstanding, and the original wheels and hubcaps are wrapped in white wall tyres, presenting as it would have on the showroom floor over 60 years ago. The undercarriage and engine bay are spotless; a tell-tale sign of a meticulously maintained car. With rear spats and a continental kit, this Bel Air is the epitome of 50's styling.

This the most desirable version the Fuelie with Ram-Jet fuel injection was by far one of the most advanced engines of its era offering superior performance and economy. The same engine powering the Corvette as the quickest production car in the world at the time. A $500 premium got the Fuelie an expensive option that despite its advantages most people would opt for the carby models making the Fuelie very rare and desirable today.
Over the last few years there's been several auction sales in the US reaching $165K US ($235Aus) for equivalent examples clearly collectors have their eye on the Fuelie.

The small-block V8 engine is paired with a heavy duty 3-speed manual transmission, both of which are in outstanding mechanical order. The engine feels smooth and powerful, while the gear-shifts feel effortless and precise. It's a pleasure to drive and is ready to be driven from the showroom floor.

As one of the most popular cars to ever travel down a production line, the Chevrolet Bel Air is an American Icon. Even one who knows nothing of cars can identify with a Bel Air as they are an instantly recognisable classic. Produced consistently between 1949 and 1980, these cars are a staple in the US motor industry setting the bar for comfort and style. Now, they are increasingly hard to find in good condition and their classic 50's styling have made them highly collectable.

Holding an important place in international motoring history, the Bel Air's elegant styling and pedigree make it a rare collectable and a failsafe investment. In such good condition, this example would complement any garage or collection.
