In 1960 the Bill Mitchell designed Cadillac Coupe DeVille was imbued with more restrained styling than the 1959 model with its outlandish tailfins. Features include a full-width grille, power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission and dual backup lights. This era of Cadillac has always been recognized as an impressive, elegant, and understated motorcar.
This one-owner example was purchased new in Beverly Hills by “Gone with the Wind” star Ann Rutherford and remained with her at her Beverly Hills home until her passing in 2012. This 1960 Coupe DeVille is a remarkable survivor with factory black paint, and benefits from a lovely reupholstered gray interior. The car comes replete with with the original owner’s manual and protection plan. This elegant Cadillac shows approximately 45,000 miles, possibly from new, minimal rust, excellent panel fit and, above all, poise. An ultra-rare one-owner Hollywood car!
