- An iconic American car from the immediate post - war period
- Car in very good condition
- Comfortable engine and transmission

The car on offer is a Riviera Coupe, a novelty from 1949. The chassis was shortened, the wheelbase reduced to 3.20m. A short moulding throughout the body, we can see that the chrome strips adorning the grille was now more prominent, the windshield in two parts was now curved while the engine saw an increase in its displacement and power, which was now 150bhp.
This Roadmaster Riviera coupe was part of the Bronson Collection. It has in the past been the subject of a major restoration, and is still in very good condition, an evidence of the quality of work performed. The paint in two-tone cream and black goes well with the upholstery made from a combination of green leather and grey fabric. It is equipped with its original radio, but also has power seats and windows. The flexibility of its eight-cylinder 320cu inch engine (5.2-litres), mated to the Dynaflow automatic transmission, makes the car's use particularly pleasant, and the status of this car allows you to consider a drive for long distances in great comfort. When we saw the car at the same collector's place, who had sold last year both the U.S. customs (that is to say how this enthusiast is obviously sharp and knowledgeable in his choice), we fell in love! The condition of the car is superb, its admirable line, as beautiful as the Bentleys from the same period and so representative from the period of "Drive-ins" and other outdoor cinemas... Rock'n Roll is here to stay! Our job is to share with you our favorite.
Proof of the car's likeability is obvious when you consider that the 1949 Buick Roadmaster was the star of many notable films such as Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise, or Mulholland Falls with Nick Nolte and Melanie Griffith.
