Description

"The Type 35 Bugatti tops the list of beautiful cars of the 1920s period and some would say it is the most beautiful racing car of all time. The Type 35 body lines were virtually unchanged from its first appearance in the Grand Prix of the Automobile Club of France in July 1924, through to its final 51 version of 1931. For those who yearn for Bugatti-style motoring yet cannot afford the associated expense, a replica is the obvious solution and for many years, the classic Type 35 has inspired the construction of numerous faithful replicas, some using a mixture of components from other Bugatti’s, others, like the example offered here, being almost entirely manufactured anew. This Bugatti Type 35 Replica is finished in the traditional colour of French Blue with a black interior, the fibreglass body remains in good order and sits on a set of painted wire wheels, and is powered by a 1600cc engine with a four-speed manual gearbox. Showing 12,934 miles on the odometer, it has recently been fitted with a new carburettor and is said to be in good running order. The car is supplied with various bills and invoices as well as the current UK V5C registration document. This wonderful little Type 35 is huge amounts of fun and draws attention wherever it goes!"
