Bugatti was one of the finest car manufacturers of the 1920‘s and 1930‘s, but after the death of founder Ettore Bugatti in 1947, the company ceased production. In an attempt to revive Bugatti, Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli acquired the rights to the legendary name and in 1989 he announced its return. No expense was spared in designing the new Bugatti which was to be produced at a new state of the art factory constructed north of Modena in Italy.
Launched in 1991 on the day of what would have been Ettore Bugatti‘s 110th birthday the new car was aptly named the ‘EB 110‘ and was designed by Marcello Gandini, the man responsible for the Lamborghini Countach and Lancia Stratos among many other famous sporting cars. Bristling with many unique design features, it had a body of aluminium that was bonded to a carbon fibre mo
