The Z8 was introduced at the 1999 Frankfurt Motor Show and was made from April 2000 to July 2003. The designers of the Z07 who presented the car at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show were inspired by the BMW 507, a popular but rare sports car from the 1950s. Because the Z07 got such good comments, BMW decided to start producing the car almost unchanged, but with a different name.

The Z8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km in 4.7 seconds. It has a limited top speed of 250 km/h, but it could do 300 km/h if it was unlimited. It brakes from 100 to 0 km in 2.5 seconds.

Another similarity with the BMW 507 is that the Z8 is also a rare car with a very low number of units built. It is therefore no surprise the Z8 has become an instant classic and will only increase in value.

This BMW is completely in original condition (engine, transmission, interior and paint are all original). The car starts immediately, shifts through all gears and brakes properly. The red / black leather interior is still in neat condition and looks very nice with Jet Black paint, a unique combination (only 83 units were built like this).

What makes this BMW Z8 very attractive is its complete engine overhaul (completed in 2020), the total cost was 20,850 euros. Since then, the car has only travelled 10 miles / 16 km. The current odometer reading is 167,954 miles, however you would be driving with a completely new revised engine (see copy of receipts accompanying the photos).
