Description
The BMW E34 M5 was the last hand assembled M series car and the last M5 to feature the race inspired inline six cilinder engine. This engine, which was basically the same as used in the M1, offered 315 bhp and transformed the 5-series saloon into a proper wolf in sheep's clothing. Acceleration time from 0-100 kph was around 6 seconds, and the top speed was limited to 250 kph as that became fashionable at the end of the eighties among the German manufacturers.
This M5 is quite unique, as it is in perfect original condition. It is still in its original paint, apart from the bonnet and bootlid which got a quality repaint in the beautiful Misano Red. The interior looks like new, and is in the rare BMW Motorsport cloth in combination with nappa sidebolsters. There is also the optional two-seats arrangement at the rear, as well as an electrical sunroof. This car has only done 78.480 km, and only got three owners. All books and tools are still with the M5, as well as a stamped servicebook. This whole car really looks and drives as it was just delivered by the BMW dealership, and therefore probably one of the most unique M5's in the world.
If you are looking for an exceptional example of the iconic M5, then you found it. A testdrive with this magnificent sports saloon will only confirm, and as this car has now turned 30 years old it can even be registered as a proper historic vehicle. This is a rare opportunity and we believe it won't be available for very long....
