1988 BMW M3 Coupé (E30) Evolution

Als der BMW M3 E30 1985 auf der IAA in Frankfurt vorgestellt wurde, war er eine Sensation - dank seiner Rennsport-Abstammung. Als Tourenwagen-Rennsport-Homologationsmodell rollte der BMW M3 schließlich 1986 an den Start.

Das Herzstück des BMW M3 war zweifelsohne sein kultivierter Vierzylindermotor. Die Leistungsdaten des ersten BMW M3 waren damals ein Maßstab und sind es auch heute noch. Dank Rennsporttechnik klettert der Motor exakt auf die 200-PS-Marke - und das ohne Turbolader oder Kompressor. Dank des geringen Fahrzeuggewichts von rund 1.200 Kilogramm erreicht der M3 nach nur 6,7 Sekunden die 100 km/h-Marke und erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 235 km/h.

Der hier vorgestellte M3 wurde am 7. Juli 1988 erstmals in Italien zugelassen, wo er bis 2017 verblieb. Während dieser Zeit wurde der Wagen regelmäßig bei demselben BMW-Händler gewartet. Im Jahr 2017 wurde das Auto von unserem Kunden und dem jetzigen Besitzer gekauft.

1988 BMW M3 Coupé (E30) Evolution

When the BMW M3 E30 was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1985, it was a sensation - thanks to its racing pedigree. As a touring car racing homologation model, the BMW M3 finally rolled onto the starting grid in 1986.

The heart of the BMW M3 was undoubtedly its cultivated four-cylinder engine. The performance data of the first BMW M3 was a benchmark at the time and still is today. Thanks to racing technology, the engine climbs exactly to the 200 hp mark - without a turbocharger or supercharger. Thanks to the low vehicle weight of around 1,200 kilograms, the M3 reaches the 100 km/h mark after just 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 235 km/h.

The M3 presented here was first registered in Italy on July 7, 1988, where it remained until 2017. During this time, the car was regularly serviced at the same BMW dealer. In 2017, the car was purchased by our customer and
the current owner.
