Unveiled by Alpina in 2012, the B3 GT3 was built to commemorate the Alpina B6 GT3’s class victory in the 2011 ADAC GT Masters Championship. Limited to just 99 units, the B3 GT3 combines elements of the B6 GT3, alongside the traditional Alpina engineering often lavished on BMW road cars.

Equipped with a 3.0-litre straight-six, the B3 GT3 was fitted with a specially designed Akrapovič exhaust system that boosted power output to 408 horsepower. Riding on specially forged 19-inch alloy wheels, the B3 GT3 accelerated to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, and had a top speed of 300 km/h. It featured innovative camber-adjustable coilover suspension, as well as a front splitter and rear wing derived from the B6 GT3.

This B3 GT3, wearing the serial number 09/99, was built in March 2012 and painted in Sapphire Black with silver decals. A well-specified example, this Alpina was configured with the Comfort Pack and the Digital Race Display—with four display modes and the ability to provide the driver with ample data for fast road or track use. Seats made by Recaro give its occupants a true feel for the race track.

Acquired new directly from Alpina by the consigning owner in February 2015, this B3 GT3 has covered just 636 kilometres at the time of cataloguing, and presents an excellent opportunity to acquire a low-mileage road-going GT3 Alpina.
