Description

This unique BMW 700 sport was delivered new in Italy to its first owner Mr. Paolini.
In 1964 the car was rebuild as a racecar that was driven by italian drivers Lanfranco Caneschi and Mario Moscatelli. it competed in numerous
races such as Coppa Galenga Roma, Trofeo San Remo, Coppa A.C. Bologna Imola, Vallelunga Roma etc.
All these races and many others are wel discribed in a very large file with results and beautiful pictures. also the car was mentioned in italian magazines such as
Autosprint and auto italiana.
Having 50kg. less weight, two downdraft solex carburettors and more horsepower than the standard model, this car was able to compete with the famous Fiat Abarths.
after 1967, the car was brought back to its original condition with a very sympathatic restoration making sure that the originallity was't compromised.
the result today is still magnificant! the car looks great, handles great, and is very wel capable of competing in different rally's or other events.
a well documented time machine that demandes attention where ever it arrives.
