The E23 was BMW's first "real" "7 series, the 7 series is the successor to the 2500 series. Firsts for the E23 included the ABS system (standard from 1984), the well-known "Check control" with service interval indicator, on-board computer and a catalytic converter was available.
It concerns the facelift model, compared to the original "sharknose", the "whalenose" "had a new grille and nose, updated dashboard and instruments, in addition, the eighth suspension was technically improved.

Dieser BMW befindet sich seit 4 Jahren in einem beheizten Raum zwischen einer Sammlung von Klassikern.

Der E23 war der erste "echte" 7er von BMW, der 7er ist der Nachfolger des 2500er. Zu den Neuheiten des E23 gehörten das ABS-System (Standard ab 1984), die bekannte "Check Control" mit Wartungsintervallanzeige, Bordcomputer und Katalysator.
